Belfast
Like its namesake in Larne, Port of Belfast is an ideal destination if you wish to travel
Ireland. Regular scheduled sailings from Britain mean you can effortlessly reach your
destination.
Belfast is an exciting city with a host of tourist attractions, sporting activities and
vibrant nightlife.
Belfast is linked to Dublin by train and main road. Recent
improvements to the train service mean the journey is faster and more comfortable than
ever. Similarly, road improvements are cutting the time of bus and car journeys. Both Bus
Eireann and Iarnrod Eireann have regular services running between Dublin and Belfast.
Tickets can be purchased in either Euro or Sterling, though it should be noted that Irish
Punts are not generally accepted in Belfast.
Stranraer
From the South follow the M6/A74 past Carlisle to Gretna, & then take the A75 west
directly to Stranraer. Follow the signs for the Ferry Port which is located close to the
Town Centre.
From the North Stranraer is reached by following the A77
Coast Road from Ayr.
The Port of Stranraer is located on the southern edge of Loch
Ryan in the south west of Scotland. at the mouth of the River Wyre. The Port & it's
Terminal operated by the Stena Line, offers excellent facilities & services to both
passenger & freight customers.
