Northern Ireland ports
Northern Ireland has a rich history and character that defies the more recent political reputation it's had to endure. At its heart is Belfast, with the stunning Belfast Castle overlooking the Belfast Lough. From here it is easy to explore the enchanting countryside of Northern Ireland.
Belfast Port deals with almost 60 percent of Northern Ireland's sea trade and 25 percent of trade for the whole island of Ireland. It is Ireland's largest ferry port and handles over 2 million passengers, 340,000 freight vehicles and 450,000 passenger cars annually. Ship movements through the port are now approaching 20,000 per annum. Located close to the city centre, the port is easy to reach.
