The Port of Brindisi has a long maritime history, having provided a natural harbour over the centuries for ships plying the Adriatic. Nowadays it has frequent connections with destinations throughout Greece and Turkey, as well as other parts of the Adriatic.

Facilities at the port aren't extensive, however the nearby town provides a host of shops, restaurants and banks. Numerous companies operate out of the port, sailing to destinations across the Adriatic.
