Useful Information
Port of Thessaloniki

The port of Thessaloniki was established more than 2000 years ago, acting as a base for Macedonia's naval power. Today Thessaloniki is a modern, metropolitan, city with a population of over a million people. This university city is a thriving centre of commerce and culture not only in Greece but for the entire Balkan region. Ferries sail to Heraklion on Crete, and Rhodes in the Dodecanese archipelago, calling at numerous other Greek Islands en-route.
