Book Port of Thessaloniki tickets here!

The port of Thessaloniki was established more than 2000 years ago, acting as a base for Macedonia's naval power. Today Thessaloniki is a modern, metropolitan, city with a population of over a million people. This university city is a thriving centre of commerce and culture not only in Greece but for the entire Balkan region. Ferries sail to Heraklion on Crete, and Rhodes in the Dodecanese archipelago, calling at numerous other Greek Islands en-route.

The ferry terminal is located on the ground floor of a neo-classic building at the entrance of the port and serves passenger ships and flying dolphins with several destinations from Chalkidiki to Crete. Facilities include waiting rooms, cafeterias, card-phones, trolleys for the transportation of luggage and several information kiosks.

All ferries have facilities for those with disabilities, though passengers should advise staff of any special needs when making their reservation. The ferry terminal is wheelchair accessible, and staff can offer assistance in boarding vessels.
