Port of Zeebrugge

The port of Bruges-Zeebrugge has a long history which stretches back to the beginning of the Christian calendar. There were periods of affluence but also of decline. In the past 25 years cargo throughput in the port has risen spectacularly. With approximately 10,000 ships every year and a cargo volume exceeding 32 million tons, Zeebrugge is one of Europe's fastest growing ports.

The terminal provides a number of shops with souvenirs and reading materials, as well as snacks. You will also find a cafe in the terminal.

Facilities for the disabled include wheelchair access to all areas of the port, as well as special assistance for those with boarding difficulties. Passengers are however advised to notify the port in advance of any specific needs that they may have.
