From the south follow the A12 past Colchester & then take the A120 east, which leads direct to Harwich.

From the north follow the A12 south & 2 miles before Colchester, take the A120 east, which leads direct to Harwich. Follow the signs to the Ferry Port. You may also travel by train from Liverpool Street and Cambridge.

The Port of Harwich is owned & operated by Hutchison Port Holdings, the world's largest independent port operator. Located on the southern side of the River Stour in Essex, this highly efficient, modern, multipurpose port has become one of the UK's most important North Sea ports.

Hook Of Holland

The Hook of Holland is a very small town, with around 3 hotels and just a handful of places to eat. The nearest large towns are The Hague and Rotterdam, with museums, plenty of shops and restaurants, varied nightlife and the National Sea Life centre (The Hague).

The excellent E30 / E25 network of motorways links the ferry port with Rotterdam, Amsterdam and the rest of the country.
