Plymouth
Plymouth is the ideal port for taking a ferry to France from the north, midlands, wales
and the west of England, as it has excellent motorway connections via the M5 and M6. The
Port of Plymouth is the historical second home of the British Royal Navy and is located at
the mouth of the River Tamar in the South of England. Plymouth also has an extensive
commercial port, known as Millbay Docks where ferries are available to book.
The modern passenger terminal in Portsmouth is extensive, with vehicle marshalling to ease
the flow of traffic in the port. The terminal provides a cafe for hot and cold meals and

your car.
