DFDS Seaways Ticket Terms

All reservations are Non Refundable. Reservations are amendable, subject to an administration fee of £15 per amendment in addition to any fee raised by the ferry operator. Any amendment may also result in an additional payment, equal to the difference between the original ticket price paid and the fare for the new sailing(s) and/or vehicle type requested.

Booking amendments cannot be made online, telephone 0870 2642644. You must make such changes in advance of your travel date.

Return bookings: Failure to complete both the outward and the return journeys invalidates your booking, You will be liable to pay the relevant single fare applicable at the time your journey was made.


DFDS Seaways On Board Accommodation


Because DFDS Seaways sail overnight, you can stay up for as long as you like knowing there’s a comfortable air-conditioned cabin waiting for you, and like any hotel they offer a variety of accommodation from "Seaways Class" which is their standard accommodation, to "Commodore Class". All of their ships provide special cabins which are adapted for the disabled, and their staff will do our utmost to assist wherever possible.

SEAWAYS CLASS

STANDARD CABINS

2, 3 and 4-berth inside or outside cabins. Most cabins consist of upper and lower berths. A limited number of 2-berth cabins with 2 lower berths are available.

COMMODORE CLASS

COMMODORE CABINS

These cabins are generally more spacious and offer extra features to make your journey really special.

COMMODORE DE LUXE CABINS

For superior accommodation, select Commodore de Luxe. These are the most spacious and luxurious cabins.

Commodore de Luxe passengers also have the use of a dedicated lounge with complimentary tea and coffee facilities.


DFDS Seaways Pet Travel Scheme

Currently DFDS Seaways are only able to take cats or dogs on their Newcastle – Amsterdam/Ijmuiden route.

Animals that meet the requirements of PETS cost £30 per pet per return journey.

Animals can be allocated a kennel or may remain in your vehicle.

Disabled Services

Passengers with limited mobility should call us on 0870 2642644 to arrange assistance.
