Stena Line Stena Voyager - Further Ferry Information and Vessel Description

Stena Voyager is one of a fleet of High Speed Service vessels created for Stena Line in the late 1990's. The Stena Voyager currently operates on the Stranraer–Belfast route with four round trips each day, each with a 1 hour and 55 minutes crossing time. The Stena Voyager is a HSS 1500. These are the largest "fastcraft" in the world and have an in-service speed of 40 knots. Stena Voyager offers passengers a wide range of onboard facilities and services.

Several patents were registered to Stena Line in the development of the HSS, along with Stena Voyager three other HSS vessels were completed. Stena Explorer and Stena Discovery were built to operate around the British Isles with Stena Carisma built for Scandinavian use. The newest of the craft was re-named HSS Discovery after being sold to a ferry company in Venezuela during 2009.
