Wightlink Ferries MV St Helen - Further Ferry Information and Vessel Description

MV St Helen is a vehicle and passenger ferry operated by Wightlink on their route from Portsmouth to Fishbourne on the Isle of Wight. She entered service with Sealink on 28 November 1983 shortly after her sister MV St Catherine becoming the largest Isle of Wight ferry, a record held until 2001 when MV St Clare entered service. St Helen operates on the Portsmouth - Fishbourne along with three other Saint Class vessels is the Wightlink Ferries fleet. St Helen operated her first crossing in November 1983 becoming the second vessel of it's type following the introduction of St Catherine a few months earlier. St Helen was built in Scotland in 1983 for what was then the Sealink service between Portsmouth & Fishbourne until the route got taken over by Wightlink.

Onboard passengers can enjoy the facilities and relax in the comfortable lounges. The lower lounge on the lower deck offers Cafe and Bar facilities. Passengers have use of a lift between the car decks and main lounge.
